Drymen is approximately 15 miles north of Glagow and 20 miles west of Stirling.
If travelling by car:
- From the South – follow the M8 to exit number 16, then follow signs for Aberfoyle, A811, Drymen is well signposted from the A811.
From Glasgow M8– travelling westbound, go over the Erskine Bride (there is no longer a toll fee), follow signposts to Crianlarich, then Alexandria, A811 and drive through Balloch and Gartocharn before reaching Drymen.
From Glagow city centre – follow the A81 to Milngavie and then the A809 over Stockiemuir.
By bus
Regular services run from Balloch, Stirling and Glasgow.
